Cranberry's Rochester Road Getting Additional Lane

Find out here when the work will get under way.

CRANBERRY TOWNSHIP, PA - Work will start in April on a $1.3 million project that will add another eastbound lane on Rochester Road near the intersection with Route 19. The extra lane will allow traffic from both Rochester Road and Wisconsin Avenue to turn left at the same time rather than staggering traffic moments as is currently done.

As part of the project, the westbound merge lane on Rochester Road will be extended from Commerce Park Drive to the driveway shared by the municipal center and St. Ferdinand’s Church.

The work also includes widening the bridge over Coal Run, adding a new sidewalk along Rochester Road’s north that will connect with a pedestrian crosswalk across Route 19 and ADA-accessible ramps to Wisconsin Avenue.
