Penguins' Fleury To Sign Autographs Tuesday At Cranberry Dick's

The beloved goalie, expected to be selected in Wednesday's NHL expansion draft, could be making his final public appearance as a Pen.

CRANBERRY TOWNSHIP, PA - Marc-Andre Fleury will appear at the Cranberry Dick’s this evening in what likely will be his final public appearance as a Pittsburgh Penguin.

The Pens’ goalie will sign autographs at the sporting goods store off of Route 228 from 7 to 8 p.m. Fans lined up at the store early this morning to obtain one of 250 wristbands that guarantees an autograph. If time permits, fans without the wristbands might get autographs.

Fleury has played 13 seasons for the Penguins and his exemplary play in this year’s NHL playoffs helped the team capture its second consecutive Stanley Cup. But he waived his no-movement clause and allowed himself to be exposed in the NHL’s expansion draft on Wednesday.

Fleury is expected to be selected in the draft by the expansion Las Vegas Golden Knights.
