PGA Honors Two Cranberry Highlands Golf Pros
PGA lauds Jody Barrett and Shawn McCall of the Cranberry Township owned and operated golf course.

CRANBERRY TOWNSHIP, PA - Two golf professionals at Cranberry Highlands, the township-owned golf course, have been honored by their PGA peers. Jody Barrett and Shawn McCall were lauded by the golfing association.
Barrett, a PGA-certified Class A Teaching Professional, was named 2017 Teacher of the Year by the association’s Tri-State Section. Barrett is responsible for the slate of instructional offerings at the award-winning course.
Barrett is marking his 24th year as a golf professional and his tenth at Cranberry Highlands. He provides lessons to golfers of all experience levels, teaches group lessons and holds clinics held in June and July.

McCall, who last year was certified as a PGA Class A golf professional, was named Apprentice Player of the Year by the Tri-State PGA at the association’s annual meeting at Montour Heights Country Club in Coraopolis. He was selected after outplaying every other apprentice in the section based on a points scale.
McCall has been a Cranberry Highlands assistant pro for seven years.
