Seneca Valley Adds School Resource Officers To Elementary Schools

Cranberry police officers will be part of the effort to increase security at the schools.

CRANBERRY TOWNSHIP, PA — The Seneca Valley School District is adding school resource officers to its four elementary schools.

Cranberry police will provide an officer at Haine, Rowan and Ehrman Crest elementary schools. The Zelienople Police Department will provide coverage at Connoquenessing Valley.

The agreement to provide the elementary school resource officers runs through 2028.

School resource officers already are in place at the middle school, intermediate high school and senior high school. Those officers are members of the Jackson Township police department.
