Seneca Valley To Hold Annual Veterans Recognition Day

The Seneca Valley School District will honor veterans and active military service members before a Raiders home football game this season.

CRANBERRY TOWNSHIP, PA — The Seneca Valley School District is organizing its annual Veteran Recognition Day and is seeking veterans and active military personnel to participate.

This year, the ceremony will occur during the Raiders' Sept. 6 game against Pine Richland.

Prior to the 5:30 p.m. warm up, vetersns will join the football team outside the Raiders Field House locker room to adhere American flag stickers to player helmets. During a pregame ceremony at 6:30 p.m., veterans will gather on the NexTier Stadium track and be recognized for their service.

Veterans attending, along with a guest, will receive free admission, special seating and parking accommodations for the game.
