CRANBERRY TOWNSHIP, PA — Property owners can expect to pay more in real estate taxes when the Seneca Valley School District adopts its 2023-24 budget next month. The
Part of the budget includes a real estate tax increase of 1.95% for those living in the district. The millage will go from 130.45 mills to 133 mills; each mill will generate $688,704 for the district.

Property owners with an assessed value of $25,890, which equates roughly to the market value and median home value of $364,500 in the district, the tax increase will be $66 - slightly more than $5 per month.
The final budget is expected to be adopted at the school board's June 12 meeting.
