CRANBERRY TOWNSHIP, PA — Seneca Valley School District directors have approved the proposed final general fund budget for 2025-26 that includes a tax increase.

The $180.6 million budget would hike millage by 5.53 mills, or 4 percent.

According to budget documents posted online, those who own a property with a current market value of $364,500 - the median value in the district - will see their taxes rise $129. The tax will increase from $3,326 to $3,335. For those with a current market value of $500,000, taxes will rise $177, from $4,426 to $4,603.
