• Penn Cambria School District awards bids for elementary school building project (altoonamirror.com) — Penn Cambria School District has approved $18.6 million in construction bids for a new two-story elementary addition at the Cresson high school campus, aiming to open it by the 2027-28 school year. Once finished, the district will close schools in Lilly and Gallitzin and consolidate about 1,500 students on the Cresson campus, while also adding a new emergency access road near the pre-primary school.
