• Mon-Yough River Valley Rotary donates care bags to police and fire departments (monvalleyindependent.com) — Donora’s police and fire departments have received new emergency care bags from the Mon-Yough River Valley Rotary, stocked with essentials and comfort items for families displaced by crises. Working with other Mon Valley clubs, Rotarians assembled blankets, toiletries, snacks, and stuffed animals to help children and adults when fires, domestic incidents, or other emergencies force them from their homes.
