Back To School: Dormont, Brookline 2021-22 School Calendar
Parents in Dormont, Brookline can mark the first day of school coming later this summer.
DORMONT AND BROOKLINE, PA —The first day of school for most Brookline students in the Pittsburgh Public Schools is Aug. 25. Grades 10 and 11 report Aug. 26 and the first day for kindergarten students is Aug. 30.
The first day for Dormont students in the Keystone Oaks School District is Aug. 30.
Heading into the upcoming school year, some dates are subject to change as the coronavirus pandemic nears its year-and-a-half point. A mix of in-person, virtual and hybrid learning is still possible in city schools.

PITTSBURGH PUBLIC SCHOOLS
First Day: Grades 1-8, 9 and 12: Aug. 25; Grades 10 and 11: Aug. 26; Kindergarten, Aug. 30.
Thanksgiving Break: Nov. 25-26.
Winter Break: Dec. 24-31.
Spring Break: April 11-18.
Last Day: June 9.
