CMU Students to Provide Dormont Parking Study

Graduate students from Carnegie Mellon University will provide a study of Dormont's parking situation—for free.

Dormont Borough is going to get a complete parking study, courtesy of graduate students from Carnegie Mellon University—and they're going to do it for free, the Pittsburgh Tribune-Review reports.

The Tribune-Review last week reported on the program, which was discussed at the Feb. 4 council meeting.

The 10-week project would focus on how to improve the parking situation in Dormont's business and residential areas. A group of graduate students from the university's Sustainable Community Development course would conduct the project.
