Dormont's Potomac Avenue To Close For Holiday Events

DORMONT, PA — Potomac Avenue will be closed for about six hours Saturday from West Liberty to Belrose avenues for the 2023 Dormont Fire Department Holiday Parade and the Home for the Holidays event.
The parade will begin at 1o a.m. at Peermont and West Liberty Ave. It will continue down West Liberty Ave., left on Potomac Ave, where it will end at Belrose Ave.
The Home for the Holidays event will feature activities, music, an artisan fair and more. Some of the highlights will include:

Vendors on Potomac, 11 a.m.-2 p.m.
- Dormont Recreation Board Coca and Cookie with Santa, 11 a.m.-1 p.m.
- Live music with the Holly Jollies, 11 a.m.-1:30 p.m.
- A live ice sculpture, 11:30 a.m.-12:30 p.m.
There also will be free face painting and a strolling juggler.
