In Memory of Dormont Native Donald Trapp

Trapp, a doctor who practiced for more than 40 years, died Thursday, July 18.

Donald Charles Trapp, 84, of Wheeling died July 18 following a long-term illness, The Intelligencer / Wheeling News-Register reported Monday.

Trapp, a Dormont native who grew up in the community and graduated from Dormont High School, went on to graduate from the Temple University School of Medicine in 1955. He served in the Navy as a designated flight surgeon, and later opened a private practice in Massachusetts.

He practiced as a urologist at the Wheeling Clinic for more than 40 years, and served in the Navy Reserve for 30 years.

Friends and family will be received from 9:30 to 11 a.m. Tuesday, July 23 at Vance Memorial Presbyterian Church, 905 National Rd., Wheeling, WV with the Reverend Dr. W. Lawrence Kline, Jr. officiating. A service will begin at 11 a.m.

Entombment will be at Mt. Lebanon Cemetery in Mt. Lebanon, Pa.
