Local Charity Fundraising to Bring Counseling and Free Tutoring to Brookline
Local woman, Caitlin McNulty, hopes to raise $12,000 through crowdfunding to create a teen center in Brookline.

Brookline has joined the crowdfunding revolution, by supporting a new local charity, Brookline Teen Outreach, on StartSomeGood.com.
“This incredible show of support has demonstrated the drive in this community to see this center built and to do better for local youth,” Smith said. “We are working toward gaining the funds we need to make our dream a reality.”
The project is focused on moving the Brookline Teen Outreach to a space that is more visible to the community, and more accessible to students. They are accomplishing amazing strides in programming, mental health and community service through collaborations within the community, but are running out of room to accommodate and effectively reach the growing population. Brookline Teen Outreach hopes to serve the community on a large scale, by engaging youth in community service projects that not only reshape the morale and identity of Brookline, but also build the confidence and ownership of the youth within the neighborhood. The goal is to be visible, to motivate the community to address larger issues, to give youth new and life changing experiences, and to provide resources for success so that the youth can build a vibrant and safe community for the future.
