New Brewery To Debut In Dormont

DORMONT, PA — The former borough municipal building on West Liberty Avenue has been reincarnated into what most would contend is a far better use - a brewery. Sitting at the bar in the new Back Alley Brewing Co. undoubtedly will be much more rewarding than sitting through a borough council meeting.

The brewery has announced it will debut next weekend in time for St. Patrick's Day.

"We are thrilled to announce the grand opening of our Dormont taproom," a post on the brewery's Facebook page stated. "After years of dreaming, planning and pouring everything we had into making our vision a reality, we are ready to open the taproom doors and share our craft with the community.
