Three Special Events at Dormont's Hollywood Theater

Steelers, movie stars, artists and breakfast are all part of three special weekend events at Hollywood Theater.

This weekend, Dormont's Hollywood Theater will play host to three special events.

Today, Friday, at 6 p.m., you might be able to do a little star gazing outside the theater. A special showing of the independent film "Christmas in Compton" is tied in with a fundraiser event. Members of the Pittsburgh Steelers, Penguins, and Pirates, as well as cast members and recording artists are scheduled to attend, and proceeds from raffles benefit the Red Cross. Saturday is for artists and art lovers. From 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., the theater will host the Hollywood Holiday Artists and Craft Fair, featuring 20 local vendors. Admission is free, and a bake sale and raffle will be held during the fair.
