BUCKS COUNTY, PA — Bucks County will greet February's arrival this weekend with a Chili Cookoff in New Hope, thoughts of spring in Doylestown, and by showing some "HeART" at the Lower Bucks Campus of the Bucks County Community College.

Show Some HeART Exhibit Opens In Lower Bucks
Bucks County Community College opens its annual Show Some HeART exhibition, a celebration of local talent and creativity, with a reception on Friday, Jan. 31 from 6 to 8 p.m. The reception is free and open to the public. This highly anticipated event features more than 200 works of art created by regional artists, with all pieces priced at $150 each. A portion of the proceeds will go towards funding scholarships for BCCC students. The exhibition will be on display through March 13 at the Gene and Marlene Epstein Campus at Lower Bucks. All pieces are available for purchase, and each sale contributes to scholarships that support the college’s students. The exhibit is free and open to the public. Spring Blooms Early At Michener Art Museum
The Michener Art Museum presents "Mark Sfirri: The Flower Show" from now through May 4. The show features stunning botanical sculptures made from exotic woods. Originally crafted for his son’s wedding, Sfirri’s turned wooden flowers are masterpieces of creativity, dancing on twisting brass stems and emerging from custom-carved bases. "Let these dazzling floral creations bring springtime magic to your winter and celebrate the artistry of woodturning at the Michener Art Museum," says Sfirri. The show is included with admission to the museum. Tickets are $15 for adults, $5 for youth and free for children ages six and under. The museum is located at 138 South Pine Street, Doylestown. Lambertville-New Hope Winter Fest Chili Cook Off
More than 10 restaurants will compete for the prestigious title of "Lambertville-New Hope Chili Cook Off Champions" on Sunday, Feb. 2 from 12 to 3 p.m. at Triumph Brewing in New Hope. Two tickets are being sold for the event: The Chili & Beer ticket includes a commemorative pint glass, all-you-can-eat chili, and all-you-can-drink beer. The Chili & No Alcohol ticket includes a commemorative pint glass, all-you-can-eat chili, and all-you-can-drink non-alcoholic beverages. More than 10 professional food judges will be on hand to decide the "Judge's Choice Awards." In addition, patrons will vote to decide the winner of the People's Choice Awards. Proceeds benefit Fisherman’s’ Mark and the Delaware Valley Food Pantry. Space is limited to first come, first serve. Click here to order tickets.

Live Weekend Music At Crossing Vineyards
Crossing Vineyards and Winery in Washington Crossing presents "Live Music at the Vineyard" on select weekends throughout the year. Live acoustic music performances take place indoors where guests are invited to enjoy wine and beer by the bottle and cocktails. Light bites will be available. On Saturday, Feb. 1 Jim Nelsen will entertain from 2:30 to 5:30 p.m. And on Sunday, Feb. 2 Bunny Barnes will perform from 2 to 6 p.m. There is no cover charge. Reserve Now: Legendary Musician Coming To Bucks
Legendary musician John Oates will perform on stage at the Historic Newtown Theatre on Tuesday, April 29 at 8 p.m. Tickets went on sale Friday, January 31 at 8 a.m. at TheNewtownTheatre.com/concerts for $85 per person or $75 for theatre members. Any remaining tickets will be sold for $95 at the door on the night of the show (if available). All seating is general admission. Oates is a cofounder of the iconic music creators, Hall & Oates, and an accomplished solo artist.
