5 Fun Things To Do This Weekend In Bucks Co.

From a holiday musical to a decorated castle, here are some of the festive events taking place this weekend in Bucks County.

BUCKS COUNTY, PA — The weekend before Thanksgiving brings lots to see and do, from tours of a Bucks County castle transformed into a winter wonderland to a holiday musical promising lots of laughs.

There are also plenty of opportunities to get some early shopping done with holiday craft markets happening in almost every community. Don't miss the Holiday Craft Show on Saturday, from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the Newtown Township Municipal Building and Sunday's Shops at South Holiday Market at Central Bucks High School South in Warrington. 3 Ways to Celebrate the Season At Bucks Co. Castle

There are three ways to experience the holiday season at Fonthill Castle, a National Historic Landmark in Doylestown operated by the Bucks County Historical Society. Through Dec. 31, the society will be holding daily tours of the castle, holiday meanders, and evening tours, each showcasing the interior castle, which has been transformed into a winter wonderland with themed Christmas trees around almost every corner.

"Elf: The Musical" Rings In The Season At Playhouse

Bucks County Playhouse rings in the holiday season with a sparkling new production of “Elf: The Musical,” playing at the historic New Hope venue from Nov. 21 through Jan. 4. Based on the beloved film, the musical follows Buddy the Elf on his hilarious and heartfelt adventure from the North Pole to New York City to discover who he truly is — and in the process help deliver some holiday magic to the Big Apple.

'A Very Furry Christmas' Kicks Off At Sesame Place

Sesame Place Philadelphia will kick off "A Very Furry Christmas, the Middletown Township amusement park’s annual holiday celebration, on Saturday. The park will transform into a sparkling Christmas wonderland with millions of twinkling lights, special events, seasonal treats, unique photo opportunities with Sesame Street friends in their holiday best, and their favorite family-friendly rides and attractions. All-new in 2025, guests can say hello to the very merry Candy Cane Crew, an upbeat holiday cheer squad who make the air sweet wherever they go!

Bachelors of Broadway Stepping Out For Bucks Show

Take a trio of dashing men, add soaring melodies from stage and screen, and then refine the sound with contemporary three-part vocal harmony and you've got a ticket to "Bachelors of Broadway Gentlemen of the Theatre." This new 3-man act, appearing on stage on Saturday at the Zlock Auditorium at the Bucks County Community College in Newtown, features symphonic arrangements of songs from modern and classic musicals like Wicked, The Phantom of the Opera, Jersey Boys, 42nd Street, Miss Saigon, and many more. Starring New York City's top theatrical talent, Bachelors of Broadway offers a fresh take on audience favorites. The show begins at 3 p.m. Click here to order tickets and information.

Shops at South Holiday Market In Warrington

The 11th annual Shops at South Holiday Market takes place on Sunday, Nov. 23, from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. at Central Bucks High School South, 1100 Folly Road, Warrington, PA 18976. The market will feature 115 local artists and vendors, a bake sale, musical performances, and more than 120 raffle baskets generously donated by participating artists, families, and the local community. The $5 cost of admission includes coffee and cocoa. Proceeds will benefit the instrumental music programs at CB South.
