Newtown Exhibit Presents Different View Of Americana
"Americana," a solo exhibition by Greta Karr, opens on Friday, August 1 for a one month run at the ArtWRKD exhibition space at 128 South State Street in Newtown Borough. A Bucks County native, Karr brings her visceral, multidimensional vision home with a striking new body of work that explores American identity through unconventional canvases and unflinching truth. Known for her boundary-pushing approach, Karr trades traditional canvases for evocative found materials — truck doors, saddles, cigarette packs — each object imbued with cultural memory and layered significance.
