And a local Peruvian and Mexican favorite, which closed in January, has resurfaced in a new temporary location while the owners search for a new site.

Quinoa Reopening At The Latin Pot In Dublin
If you enjoy Peruvian and Mexican dishes and miss the food at Quinoa in downtown Doylestown, there's good news to report. Starting on Friday, March 7, the Egoavil and Anguiano families will begin serving Quinoa's beloved Mexican and Peruvian favorites on the weekends at the Latin Pot located inside the Plaza at the Dublin Town Center (near the driver’s license center) at 161 North Main Street. “Think of it as a weekend pop up,” said Jack Egoavil, who announced the news on the restaurant’s social media pages. Chief 10's Smokehouse Closes In Bensalem
One year after opening, Chief 10's Smokehouse has closed. "It is with a heavy heart that we announce the closing of our BBQ shop," Chief 10's Smokehouse said. "Like many small businesses, we’ve faced the growing challenge of rising food costs, rising utility costs, and declining sales, making it difficult to sustain our storefront. After much reflection, we’ve made the tough decision to close this chapter." While its Bensalem Boulevard location has closed, Chief 10's Smokehouse said it will continue to serve its BBQ through its food truck and catering services. READ MORE

Bucks Restaurant Named One Of Top Places To Eat In Nation
A Bucks County restaurant known for its unique vegetarian fare has been named one of the top 44 places to eat in the nation. The food writers from USA Today have picked Dharma Bums in Point Pleasant as one of the places they would "return to again and again" and would recommend it to friends and family. Fiona and Steven Trachtenberg, who opened the unique venue just two years ago, said they are "blown away" by the national recognition. READ MORE

Halal Guys Closes, New Eatery Coming To Newtown
The Halal Guys, a Middle Eastern restaurant at the Village at Newtown Shopping Center has closed its doors after two and a half years in operation. The eatery opened its doors in August 2022 in a 1600 square foot space formerly occupied by the Melt Shop, which closed its doors during the pandemic. The restaurant was popular for its Middle Eastern food, including its chicken and beef gyros and falafel platters. READ MORE

55 And Over Community Coming To Mill Race Inn Site
The days are now numbered for the once-grand Mill Race Inn on Buck Road in the village of Holland. After being shuttered for a quarter of a century - the victim of a flood back in 1999 - much of the now
dilapidated 14,000 square foot mill will be torn down with the balance of property redeveloped with a 33-unit age-restricted 55 and older community overlooking Mill Creek. In February, the Northampton Township Board of Supervisors voted unanimously to approve plans to redevelop
the longtime eyesore in the heart of Holland. READ MORE
