7 Central Bucks Students Nominated To Military Academies

Seven students from the Central Bucks School District have been nominated to attend U.S. military academies.

DOYLESTOWN, PA — Seven students from the Central Bucks School District have been nominated to attend U.S. military academies.

The nominations were announced Friday by U.S. Rep. Brian Fitzpatrick, who represents Bucks County and part of Montgomery County in Congress.

"One of the most important duties for Rep. Fitzpatrick is to nominate qualified young men and women from Bucks and Montgomery counties to the nation’s prestigious service academies," his office said in a news release.

Service academy nominations are recommended to Fitzpatrick by his nomination committee, which includes active duty and retired service members from across the district.
