Arrests For DUI, Simple Assault Reported By Plumstead Police
Police also investigated bad checks being passed at a township grocery store and the theft of two ladders.
PLUMSTEAD TOWNSHIP, PA — The Plumstead Township Police Department reported the following incidents and arrests between Feb. 10 and 16:
February 10
- At 6:59 p.m., officers responded to a report of an intoxicated person at a business on North Easton Road. The individual, a 63-year-old man from Doylestown, was arrested for Driving Under the Influence (DUI) after failing a field sobriety test. Charges are pending.

- At 10:39 a.m., officers responded to a report of passing bad checks at the Giant on Easton Road. The investigation is ongoing.
- At 12:06 p.m., a Plumstead resident reported a theft of two ladders from Verizon on Stump Road totaling over $1,500. The investigation is active.
February 14
- At 10:10 p.m., officers stopped a Ford F150 on North Easton Road for traffic violations. The driver, a 41-year-old man from Philadelphia, was arrested for DUI of a controlled substance after admitting to smoking marijuana and failing a field sobriety test. Charges are pending blood test results.
February 15

- At 1:36 p.m., officers responded to a domestic disturbance on Old Easton Road. The victim reported being hit in the face. A 37-year-old man from Doylestown was arrested for simple assault and processed.
February 16
- At 12:16 a.m., officers stopped a White Dodge on North Easton Road for an expired registration plate. The driver, a 45-year-old man from Doylestown, was arrested for DUI after failing a field sobriety test. Charges are pending blood alcohol results.
- At 10:54 a.m., officers responded to a domestic disturbance on North Easton Road. The victim reported being hit in the eye by a cell phone, but no physical harm was observed. The victim was provided with a Victim's Rights packet.
- At 9:54 p.m., officers stopped a Dodge Ram truck on Swamp Road and Ferry Road for reckless driving. The driver, a 51-year-old man from Doylestown, was arrested for DUI after failing a field sobriety test. Charges are pending blood alcohol results.
