Assaults, DUI Arrests, Defiant Trespass: Doylestown Twp. Crime Report
During March, police investigated 13 cases of fraud, the theft of two bicycles, juvenile mischief and underage drinking.
DOYLESTOWN TOWNSHIP, PA — The Doylestown Township Police Department reported the following incidents and arrests during the month of March:
Assault
- On March 17, officers responded to the Learning Experience for an employee who was terminated and upon exiting, became disorderly, and began throwing items. The case is under investigation.
- On March 17, officers responded to Bridge Point Park for a domestic assault. A 22-year-old man was identified and taken into custody.

- On March 2, two bicycles were reported stolen from the picnic area at Rita’s Water Ice. The case is under investigation.
- On March 7, officers responded to Kohl’s Department Store for a retail theft investigation. The case is under investigation.
- On March 25, officers responded to Goldfish Swim School for a fraudulent/counterfeit $100 bill that was passed. The case is under investigation.
Fraud
- During the month of March, there were 13 fraud investigations. Remember that no legitimate organization will ask for payment through gift cards or Bitcoin deposits. Residents are also advised to use extreme caution when taking phone calls from people identifying themselves as computer representatives advising them of viruses on which they can assist.
Criminal Mischief

- On March 22, officers investigated a report of criminal mischief at Panera Bread where several juveniles threw trash around the store. The case is under investigation.
Driving Under The Influence
- On March 12, a 55-year-old woman was taken into custody for DUI on Quail Drive.
Liquor Laws
- On March 22, a juvenile was cited for underage drinking at Panera Bread.
Trespass
- On March 30, a 31-year-old woman was arrested for defiant trespass after she refused to leave the grounds of Doylestown Hospital.
During the month of March, police handled 1,109 calls for service, including 31 traffic accident investigations. Police issued 142 traffic citations and 282 traffic warnings.
