Bar Louie In Warrington Closes Suddenly

WARRINGTON, PA — Bar Louie, a restaurant chain known for its burgers and cocktails, has permanently closed its location at the Shops at Valley Square in Warrington. According to the business, the gastropub closed for good on Saturday.

A spokesperson for the Shops at Valley square said the closure was unexpected.

The chain, which confirmed it filed for bankruptcy in a news release Monday, recently closed dozens of locations.

Bar Louie, which in the news release said it had reached an agreement with its lenders on the Chapter 11 bankruptcy sale, said it will continue to operate more than 90 locations across the United States "in the normal course of business."

There is still one Bar Louie location in Bucks County. The restaurant in Bensalem remains open for business.

The sale through Chapter 11 will help us to focus on our profitable core locations and expand in areas that have a proven track record of success," Tom Fricke, CEO of Bar Louie, said in the news release. "Most importantly, it ensures that we can continue to provide superior service to our guests, implement an exciting range of new customer-facing initiatives, expand our marketing influence, and continue to offer the 5-star experience we are known for."
