Bristol Road To Close Weekdays For Water Main Repairs

Aqua Pennsylvania will close a portion of Bristol Road in Chalfont and New Britain for water main installation.

During the weekday closure, Bristol Road drivers will be directed to use Butler Avenue, Route 152 (Limekiln Pike) and Route 202. Local access will be maintained up to the construction zone.

BUCKS COUNTY, PA — Aqua Pennsylvania will close Bristol Road between Butler Avenue and Forrest Drive/Green Valley Way in Chalfont and New Britain boroughs and New Britain Township beginning Monday, Aug. 2, for water main installation, the Pennsylvania Department of Transportation announced Tuesday.

During the weekday closure, Bristol Road drivers will be directed to use Butler Avenue, Route 152 (Limekiln Pike) and Route 202. Local access will be maintained up to the construction zone.

Drivers are advised to allow extra time when traveling near the work area because backups and delays will occur. All scheduled activities are weather dependent.

Aqua Pennsylvania will complete the project under a PennDOT Highway Occupancy Permit.
