Buckingham Police Look To Identify Suspect In Debit Card Theft

A Buckingham Township resident reported her debit card lost or stolen on November 30. It was later used to purchase a 65-inch television.

BUCKINGHAM, PA — Police in Buckingham Township are asking for the public's help in identifying a man who used a stolen debit card to purchase a television worth more than $2,000.

A Buckingham resident reported the debit card lost or stolen on Nov. 30, according to the Buckingham Township Police Department.

Later that day, the card was used to purchase a 65-inch television at the Best Buy in Willow Grove, Montgomery County, valued at $2,100, police said.

The suspect in the fraud is described as a black male, thin to medium build, with short-cropped hair and wearing a gray jacket and black pants.
