Bucks County Declares Code Blue Through Christmas Eve
The county issues a "Code Blue" declaration when temperatures are forecast to drop below 20 degrees for two or more consecutive days.

DOYLESTOWN, PA — Bucks County has declared a Code Blue through Christmas Eve, Tuesday, Dec. 24 for overnight temperatures dipping into the 20s.
Shelters in Upper, Central, and Lower Bucks will be open nightly through Dec. 24 at the following locations:
Upper Bucks

- Quakertown Masonic Lodge (First Floor), 501 West Broad Street, Quakertown 18951. Opens at 8:30 p.m.
Central Bucks
- Neshaminy Warwick Presbyterian, 1401 Meetinghouse Road, Warminster 18974. Opens at 7:30 p.m.
Lower Bucks

- Shir Ami Synagogue, 101 Richboro Newtown Road, Newtown, PA 18940. Opens at 8:30 p.m.
The county issues a “Code Blue” declaration when temperatures are forecast to drop below 20 degrees for two or more consecutive days. A “Code Blue” may be called amid higher temperatures, as consideration is also given to wind chill, precipitation and other circumstances.
