Bucks County Free Library's Summer Quest Just Weeks Away

DOYLESTOWN, PA — The Bucks County Free Library system invites the public to stay cool at the library this summer while earning prizes while they read.

"Summer Quest" runs from June 14 through August 9, packed with excitement for kids, teens, and adults. Everyone is welcome at the library where there's lots in store.

During a Summer Quest Kick-Off celebration at every branch, there will be live performances, fun activities, and an opportunity to pick up an activity iog and claim a free book. Plus, everyone who participates in Kick-Off Day will be entered to win a family ticket package to Hersheypark.

"Your Activity Log is your passport to fun this summer," said event organizers. "Pick one up at your library branch and track all the activities you complete this summer. Bring it back to your library to share your accomplishments and be entered into a summer raffle."

Participants will be asked to complete challenges each week to earn a badge inspired by one of the world’s continents. Each week brings a new theme and opportunities to learn, create, and explore.

"Participate in our Badge Squad programs and see if you’ve got what it takes to earn all seven limited-edition badges," said Summer Quest organizers.

Each week of Summer Quest is packed with fun and enriching activities for the family. Take a look at who’s coming to the library this summer.
