BUCKS COUNTY, PA — The Wycombe Tavern & Grille reopened its doors on Friday as Bucks County's newest dining destination. Located on the border between Buckingham and Wrightstown, the new restaurant spotlights American Italian tavern fare.

Wednesday also brought the approval of CAVA by the Newtown Township Board of Supervisors. The fast-casual restaurant chain known for its Mediterranean-inspired bowls has the final go-ahead to open its first Bucks County eatery at the Village at Newtown Shopping Center.

Historic Bucks Tavern Reopens With New Menu, Owners

After being closed for more than a year, the Wycombe Tavern & Grille will reopen its doors on Friday, May 30 with a brand new menu and a "rustic vibe and feel." The Diaz-Albertini family, which owns Casa Toro Mexican restaurants in Doylestown and Coopersburg, acquired the historic tavern earlier this year at 1073 Mill Creek Road and have transformed it into a spot where "history meets modern dining." The newest addition to the Bucks County dining scene will spotlight American Italian tavern fare crafted by chefs Pete Jones and Kurt Saracini to reflect the Wycombe's rich character and ambiance.

New Mediterranean Restaurant Coming To Bucks Co.

CAVA, a fast-casual restaurant chain known for its Mediterranean-inspired bowls, is coming to Bucks County. This week, the Newtown Township Board of Supervisors granted conditional use approval for the chain to open its 10th Pennsylvania restaurant at the Village at Newtown Shopping Center. An exact opening date has not yet been set. The new CAVA, offering customizable Mediterranean bowls and pitas, will be located at the former MOD Pizza storefront off of West Road and between Crumbl Cookies and Chipotle.

Bucks Co. Market Named 'Most Inspiring' In PA

A Levittown store has made the cut as the only one from Pennsylvania that is among the 50 "most inspiring small businesses of 2025, according to a recent survey. The Euro Food Market was named as Pennsylvania's representative following a survey of 3,000 people by Market Beat. The grocery store at the Kenwood Shopping Center on Haines Road specializes in Turkish products and baked goods.

NAC Signs On As Sponsor Of Newtown Holiday Parade

The Newtown Athletic Club will be the grand sponsor of this year's Newtown Holiday Parade and will be making a $25,000 donation toward the event, which is organized by the Newtown Business Association. NAC owner Jim Worthington made the announcement in a Facebook posting decked out in a Santa suit and holding his infant daughter, Loretta Grace, in his arms. Loretta was born on Christmas Day. "We are going to make this parade the best small town parade in America. That's the goal," said Worthington. "And we're going to raise a lot of money so we can get as many participants as possible including celebrities and entertainers."

Retro Arcade In Bucks Plans Month-Long Celebration

"The Game is Afoot Arcade" in Warrington is inviting the community to celebrate its 10th anniversary in June with special discount days, competitions, fundraisers, and a party. Throughout the month, each player will receive double the amount of time purchased on Monday, while on Friday, players will receive a free hour of gameplay for every hour purchased. And on Sunday, the day’s high scorer on a specially selected game will receive a prize.
