Car Crashes Into Pole, Driver Injured In Buckingham

BUCKINGHAM TOWNSHIP, PA — A driver was injured Sunday afternoon when their car left the roadway and struck a telephone pole.

The accident happened just after 3:30 p.m. on Mechanicsville Road.

Central Bucks Emergency Medical Services provided patient care, while crews from the Midway Volunteer Fire Company handled vehicle hazards and cleaned up fluids on the roadway.

Fire police officers closed the roadway at Greenhill and Creamery Roads. They remained on the scene until 5:30 p.m. while the vehicle was prepared for removal and the roadway cleared of wreckage.
