Cat Cafe To Cut The Ribbon On New Doylestown Location

Cat lovers can now get their kitty and coffee fix in a bigger and better spa on Swamp Road in Doylestown.

DOYLESTOWN, PA — MeWow Café, Bucks County’s one-of-a-kind, “out of the box” destination for organic coffee, artisan teas, locally crafted desserts, and adoptable cats will celebrate the grand opening of its new location at 4161 East Swamp Road in Doylestown.

The new location offers 3,900 square feet of space where guests can enjoy coffee, conversation, and quality time with feline friends in a comfortable and welcoming environment.

The grand opening on Wednesday, July 9, beginning at 11 a.m., will feature a ribbon-cutting ceremony, tours of the new space, light refreshments, and an opportunity to visit and meet with the store's adoptable cats.

Since opening in August 2019, café owner Eilene Kramer has partnered with local animal rescue organizations to help more than 600 stray and lost cats find their "fur-ever" homes. The cats live in cozy “alleys” where patrons can schedule visits to interact with the cats.

In addition, the new location will feature a cuddle room available for licensed care professionals and their patients.

Established in 2019 by coffee and cat lover Eilene Kramer and inspired by her daughter Karla, MeWow Café is the only café in Bucks County to combine organic coffee, artisan teas, locally created desserts, snacks and adoptable cats.
