DOYLESTOWN, PA — A Central Bucks South student athlete has tested positive for COVID-19 and is currently in self quarantine, the district said in a message to the school community.
According to school officials, the district learned Sunday that the student had tested positive. The district did not state the grade level or sport the student played. All close contacts of the student are being determined through contact tracing by the Bucks County Department of Health.
"The student followed the guidelines in the athletic health and safety plan, reported the necessary information to the Central Bucks School District, and is currently self-quarantined for the appropriate number of days," the message to the school community said.
