Central Bucks West Announces 2025 Cheer Academy
Kids in grades first through eighth are invited to participate in the three-day camp taking place at Groveland Elementary School.

DOYLESTOWN, PA — The Central Bucks West Cheer Squad will hold its third annual Central
Bucks West Cheer Academy, a summer cheer camp for kids in first through eighth grades.
During the camp, the kids will be working with the cheer squad to learn how to cheer, tumble, dance and stunt. Campers will also be crafting, team building, spiriting and forging new friendships with fellow cheerleaders and campers. Awards will be handed out and all campers will receive a free T-shirt.

CBW cheer camp will take place from June 23 to 25 from 9 a.m. until 2 p.m. each day at the Groveland Elementary School, located at 1100 North Easton Road, Doylestown 18902. Lunch, snacks and swag will also be available.
The ratio of campers to cheerleaders is 5 to 1 to maximize a camper's experience in learning new skills. These skills will be on display at the end of the third day for a live parent performance by CBW cheerleaders and the campers.

Since 1952, CBW has been cheering for the school and competing for trophies. The squad was the first cheer squad in Central Bucks High School history.
Campers will meet the team's seniors for their last year hosting the CBW Cheer Academy. They will also meet the team's new cheer coaching staff headed by Coach Amber, with support from Coach Emily and Coach Renee.
"We could not be more excited to welcome back our previous campers and greet our new campers. We will see you and your campers at Groveland Elementary School on June 23," said camp organizers.
Registration is available through MyPaymentsPlus. Questions should be directed to Coach Amber at Aopperman@cbsd.org. Look for announcements for the team's September Cheer Clinic, where members prepare the attendees to cheer live on the sidelines for a Central Bucks West home football game at War Memorial Stadium.
