"Class Act" To Bring Central Bucks Teachers To The Stage

DOYLESTOWN TOWNSHIP, PA — The Thompson Performing Arts Series continues on Wednesday, Sept. 11 with a free makeup performance by "Class Act," a dance band made up of local educators from the Central Bucks School District.
Class Act is a renowned seven-piece super group of Central Bucks School District educators. The group offers an extensive catalog of pop and rock anthems, Class Act is an elite choice among wedding crowds and public venues across the tri-state region.
"Every band will tell you that they are comprised of the top musical talent in the area, and Class Act is no different," says the band. "Each member is extraordinarily talented and brings their own unique style and personality to the group. Our top-tier talent gives us the ability to learn, and do justice to, virtually any song.

"However, what sets Class Act apart from other party bands is that we are all educators as well. We make our livings interacting with all kinds of people, making them feel comfortable and welcome in any environment," says the band.
The free concert begins at 7 p.m. at the C&N Amphitheater at Doylestown Township's Central Park.

The series continues with:
- Bigg Romeo (Dance Band) on Sept. 18.
- Cherry Lane Band presented in conjunction with the Food Truck Festival on Sept. 22 from 1:30 to 4:30 p.m.
The free summer concert series is sponsored by The Thompson Organization which is made up of four dealerships: Thompson Toyota, Thompson BMW, Thompson Lexus Doylestown, and Thompson Lexus Willow Grove, as well as Thompson Detail Center and Thompson Collision Center.
