VIA Congratulates Doylestown Health On Joining Penn Medicine
In a statement, VIA says it will continue its work, blending volunteerism, philanthropy, advocacy, education, outreach and partnership.

DOYLESTOWN, PA — The Village Improvement Association, which founded Doylestown Hospital more than a century ago, issued the following statement on Doylestown Health joining Penn Medicine.
"We are so very proud that the hospital we founded more than 100 years ago is now Penn Medicine - Doylestown Health. The women of the Village Improvement Association of Doylestown (VIA) , founders of Doylestown Hospital back in 1923, are extremely proud to congratulate our Doylestown Health System on becoming part of Penn Medicine.
"In keeping with our tradition of innovation, philanthropy and service to community, we know this relationship will ensure that even more advanced care options will be available close to home for our local families. We will continue to support the hospital and its commitment to quality care."

The statement continues, "The work of the VIA continues, blending volunteerism, philanthropy, advocacy, education, outreach and partnerships across the area. In May we will host the 49th Bucks County Designer House and Gardens, our largest annual fundraiser. In June we will announce
exciting new VIA plans for continuing our mission of enhancing the health and welfare of Central Bucks and surrounding communities.
"Our VIA mission will keep moving forward - just like the community we serve. Just like we’ve done for the past 130 years."
