Dog Only Swim Event Planned At Fanny Chapman Pool In Doylestown

DOYLESTOWN, PA—Join the Doylestown Township Parks & Recreation for a special "Dogs Only" swim event at Fanny Chapman Pool this Sept. 12.

Bring your dogs for a chance to splash around in the pool before it closes for the season!

According to park officials, there are two pools available for large dogs (30 Lbs. +), at two different time slots.

Each pool will have a separate entrance. Limited spaces available in each time slot.

Location: Fanny Chapman Pool - 10 McKinstry Drive, Doylestown, PA 18901

Time: Session 1 (Large dogs - 30 lbs.+): 11 am -12 pm

Session 2 (Large Dogs - 30 lbs.+): 12:30 - 1:30 pm

Note: For large dogs please choose between instructional or middle pool. (Pools are similar in depth, but each one has a separate entrance.)

Session 3 (Small dogs - 29 lbs.& under): 2 - 3 pm (Toddler Pool area)

Fee: Dog Park members: $10/dog/session

Non-members: $15/dog/session

Town officials are reminding residents that dogs must be up to date on all vaccinations, including rabies and DHPP. In addition, a waiver must be signed during the registration process. Paper copies will not be accepted at the event.

Masks and social distancing are required at this event for all human participants. They must be worn at all times unless you are in the pool.
