Man Jailed After Unprovoked Assault At Warrington Hotel: Police

The victim told police that they were awakened by loud noise coming from an adjoining room and knocked on the door to complain.

WARRINGTON TOWNSHIP, PA —A Florida man is facing harassment and simple assault charges following an incident at the Hampton Inn in Warrington.

Warrington Police responded to the hotel on Jan. 9 around 3:50 p.m. for the report of an assault. The victim told police that they were awakened by loud noise coming from an adjoining room and knocked on the door to complain.

The victim told police that when the man opened the door, he struck the victim in the face without provocation, cutting the victim's lip.

The 46-year-old man from Miami, Florida, was arrested, arraigned, and bail was set at $5,000 unsecured or 10 percent. Unable to post bail, he was transported to the Bucks County Correctional Facility to await court action.

The man is charged with simple assault and harassment.
