Doylestown Area CVS Stores Offering COVID-19 Vaccine

DOYLESTOWN, PA — People in Pennsylvania can now schedule their COVID-19 vaccination at their local CVS, the pharmacy chain announced Friday.

The pharmacy is offering doses of the vaccine at 75 Pennsylvania locations, including stores in Chalfont and Wrightstown. More locations are expected to be announced in the coming weeks.

Those eligible for appointments include people aged 65 and over, teachers, daycare and preschool workers and staff, health care workers, people aged 16 and older with high risk conditions, long-term care facility residents and staff, in according with state health regulations.

All appointments are fully booked as of Friday afternoon.

The vaccine is available at no cost with most insurance plans or through a federal program for the uninsured. More than 2.6 million vaccine shots have been administered in Pennsylvania as of Friday, according to the Pennsylvania Department of Health.
