Doylestown Bookshop Robbed At Knifepoint Friday: Police

Central Bucks Regional Police are investigating after the Doylestown Bookshop was robbed at knifepoint Friday night.

DOYLESTOWN, PA — The Doylestown Bookshop was robbed at knifepoint Friday night, Central Bucks Regional Police said.

Officers were called the S. Main Street business for the report of the robbery around 8:30 p.m.

Employees told officers a man wearing a stocking mask, hat, and dark clothing threatened the cashier with a knife, and demanded all money from the register. He then ran out the back door with the money.

He's described as a 5’6” to 5’7” dark-skinned male. Detectives are reviewing surveillance footage and conducting interviews.
