Located at 152 N Main Street, the new home of The Foundry carries a remarkable architectural

early 1800s stone farmhouse (c. 1806) for Zerick Titus.

In 1873, architect Thomas Lester Cernea transformed it with its distinctive cascading rooflines and arched windows. Later, in 1964, the structure was adapted into the Bachman Funeral Home, with modern additions designed by Martin & Gilmore.
Sitting on a prominent corner lot near the courthouse, the building’s layers of history reflect centuries of adaptation and innovation — an ideal setting for a modern coworking community.

“The history held within these walls is extraordinary,” said Ashley Muir, owner of The Foundry. “There’s a rich history with this building, and we’re excited to be able to open its doors to give local creative professionals and businesses the ability to use this space to share ideas, collaborate, and grow.”
The new space offers significantly more square footage with the ability to continue expanding as membership grows. Visitors will find a variety of work environments. including open coworking areas, private spaces for focused work, and a fully equipped conference room that supports client meetings, company off-sites and team collaborations. The layout was designed to offer flexibility, comfort, and an atmosphere that encourages productivity and connection.
The Foundry’s expansion reflects the growing demand for professional workspaces that go beyond the limitations of working from home. More individuals and teams in the region are seeking reliable, inspiring environments where they can build their businesses, meet with clients, and engage with a supportive community. With the addition of the 152 Main Street location, The Foundry is able to welcome more members while providing the same warm and creative environment that has become its signature.
Community members are encouraged to stop in and explore the new space. Tours can be scheduled directly, and the team is available to help new members find the right setup for their work style and goals.
