Doylestown Historians To Tip Their Hat To The History Of The Chapeau

In a program entitled "For the Love of Hats," Lynne Anne Donchez will celebrate her fascinating journey through the world of hats.

DOYLESTOWN BOROUGH, PA — The Doylestown Historical Society will tip its hat to the history of the chapeau during a special presentation by lifelong Doylestownian and business woman Lynne Anne Donchez.

In a program entitled "For the Love of Hats," Donchez will celebrate her fascinating journey through the world of hats during a special video presentation on Thursday, March 14 beginning at 4 p.m. inside the DHS Barn at 56 South Main Street. Light refreshments will be served.

Highlighting the program will be the exclusive premiere of a video showcasing Donchez's unique collection of hats and her firsthand stories behind each chapeau. After the show, there will be a
brief question and answer session with Lynne Anne and an opportunity to peruse the exhibit before and after the program. Lynne's signature book, "For the Love of Hats," will also be for sale for $20 (cash only).

In conjunction with the show, the Doylestown Historical Society presents an exclusive exhibit of millinery shops in Doylestown, highlighting an exquisite collection of hats and their accessories. The
exhibit will be on display at the museum through April 15.
