DOYLESTOWN, PA — Doylestown's annual tree lighting and Santa parade is just days away. The 105th Annual Doylestown Tree Lighting celebration is set for Nov. 29.

Here's everything you need to know to make the most out of the jolly festivities:

Event details: The 105th Annual Tree Lighting event in Doylestown will be held Nov. 29. The fun will get underway at 5 p.m. at the plaza by the Starbucks at State and Main streets.

Parking: Parking restrictions will be in place starting at 3 p.m. on Friday, Nov. 29 on E. State and W. State from Pine Street to Hamilton Street, as well as on Main Street from Court to Oakland Ave. Cars parked on the impacted streets after 3 p.m. will be towed at the owners expense, according to police.

Transportation: The Doylestown Dart will be running free shuttle service to the parking garage at Broad and Union Streets starting at 5 p.m.

Entertainment: Live music and entertainment begins at 5 p.m. at the corner of State and Main streets. There's a surprise guest hosting the celebration this year..."stay tuned for more details," organizers Discover Doylestown say. Plus, Kids Zone returns on Main Street with activities for all ages.

Santa: Santa arrives on the old fashioned fire truck at approximately 6:30 p.m. Once Santa lights the tree, he'll be in his W. State Street waiting to green children. You can see the full Santa cottage hours here.

The Tree: This year's tree has been donated and decorated by Bountiful Acres. The Doylestown Fire Company and Public Works department is assisting with setup.

Around town: Many stores and restaurants around town are planning specials, sales, and open houses.
