Doylestown Man Joins NY Giants' Coaching Staff

Doylestown's Kevin Wilkins worked his way up with the Baltimore Ravens, from video intern to defensive assistant, before joining the Giants.

DOYLESTOWN, PA — A Doylestown man is joining the New York Giants' coaching staff, the team announced in a news release on Wednesday.

Kevin Wilkins, formerly a defensive assistant for the Baltimore Ravens, is joining the Giants as a defensive assistant this season.

Wilkins grew up in Doylestown and attended LaSalle College High School in Montgomery County. He went on to major in business at the University of South Caroline, where he worked as a studio video assistant for five season.

According to the release, Wilkins joined the Ravens in 2015 as a video intern. He held that post for two seasons, working his way up through the team's ranks.

He was the Ravens' video operations coordinator between 2017 and 2020, and began taking on special projects for the Ravens' defensive coaching staff in 2019.

In the 2021 season, Wilkins worked with the Ravens as a defensive assistant.

Now, coach Brian Daboll announced that Wilkins is the latest addition to the Giants' coaching staff, along with Bryan Cox.

Cox is a Super Bowl winner and three-time Pro Bowler, and accepted a position as assistant defensive line coach with the Giants. He has previously coached for five other teams, according to the news release.
