Doylestown Mom 'Goes Above & Beyond' In Her Love & Care Of Family

DOYLESTOWN, PA— Moms do so much for everyone around them. We try to celebrate them all year long, but Mother's Day is a perfect opportunity to shout it from the rooftops and post it on Patch: Mom rocks!

Here at Patch we've launched an initiative to help recognize the awesome moms and mom figures in communities like yours.

What makes your Mom extra special?

Her love, care, support. She is others-centered!

Why do you feel your Mom deserves the spotlight?

In the last year-and-a-half, my mother has lost her husband (my dad), broke her hip and has chronic back pain (spinal stenosis). Throughout her loss and constant pain and suffering, my mother continues to put others first. She is the definition and an example of what "others-centered" means. Her care and love for her family and friends goes above and beyond. Her whole life has been about being there for others. Whether it is in her warm comforting hug, a cheerful and positive phone call, a visit, or her empathetic listening and concern, my mom makes everyone feel happy and loved and purposeful in this life. My mom has impacted my life and so many others lives —too many to count. My mom needs to recognized and celebrated for being who she is. She is exceptional in so many ways. My mom is an example of heaven on earth!
