Doylestown Police Seeking This SUV In Smash-And-Grab Thefts

DOYLESTOWN, PA — Police in Doylestown Township are looking for a silver SUV in connection with a rash of thefts Monday morning.

Six cars in the Doylestown Pointe Shopping Center off Rt. 611 were targeted in the rash of smash-and-grab thefts. The thefts were reported around 6 a.m. The cars were parked in front of Orange Theory.

Car windows were broken and purses as well as other items were taken, police said.

The suspect fled in a newer-model silver Dodge Durango. Police on Wednesday released images of the car, and ask anyone who recognizes it or has information related to the investigation to contact them at (215) 348-4201.

"As a reminder, do not leave purses, electronics or other items of value in plain view in a vehicle. Lock the items in a glove box or another secure location," Doylestown Township police warned.
