Doylestown Santa Parade Is Nov. 29: Route, Parking Restrictions
Doylestown's annual Santa Parade is set for Nov. 29. There are a few changes to the route, plus parking restrictions will be in place.
DOYLESTOWN, PA —Doylestown's annual Santa Parade is set for Nov. 29 at 6:30 p.m. The event is held in conjunction with the tree lighting festivities.
This year's route is different than in the past. According to Central Bucks Regional Police, Santa will now be traveling on W. State Street from Clinton Street to Main Street, where he will begin the holiday festivities.
"In an effort to give Santa and his firetruck center stage" parking will be prohibited on both sides of State Street between Pine and Hamilton streets starting at 3 p.m. that day.

The parking restriction will continue until the end of the event, which is typically around 8:30 p.m.
Any vehicles parked on the route on after 3 p.m. on Nov. 29 will be towed at the owner's expense, police said.

The tree lighting festivities will get underway at 5 p.m. at the plaza by the Starbucks at State and Main streets.
Once Santa's done lighting the tree, children can visit him at his cottage at State and Hamilton.
