Doylestown Sets Date For 105th Annual Tree Lighting

DOYLESTOWN, PA — Halloween isn't here yet but it's time to put another important holiday event on the calendar. The 105th Annual Tree Lighting event in Doylestown will be held Nov. 29.

The festivities will get underway at 5 p.m. at the plaza by the Starbucks at State and Main streets.

According to organizers Discover Doylestown, live musical entertainment will start at 5 p.m. At 6:30 p.m. Santa will arrive on a fire truck to light the tree.

Once he's done lighting the tree, children can visit him at his cottage at State and Hamilton.

Doylestown will be filled with the holiday spirit that night. There will be strolling carolers, holiday characters and more, according to Discover Doylestown.
