Doylestown Youth Fishing Program: Key 2020 Dates Announced
Doylestown Borough has announced some key dates for its 2020 Doylestown Youth Fishing Program.

DOYLESTOWN, PA — Doylestown Borough has announced some key dates for its 2020 Doylestown Youth Fishing Program.
The annual clean-up day is scheduled for March 21 from 8 a.m. to 10 a.m. The rain day for the clean up day is March 22 from 8 a.m. to 10 a.m.
Volunteers are needed for the clean up day. The borough asks volunteers to bring rakes.

On April 1 at 10:30 a.m., fish will be delivered. Families are invited to bring their children to help put in the fish. Food will be donated by local businesses.
The Opening Day Youth Fishing Derby is set for April 4 at 8 a.m. The Opening Day event is free for children 16 and younger. There will be free food. New this year, is a three fish limit, according to information from the borough.

There are two fishing days scheduled for seniors, handicapped and veterans on May 16 and 17 at 8 a.m. Rods and bait are provided if needed. Plus, there will be refreshments.
All events are held at Borough Dam in the Fanny Chapman Park, 10 McKinstry Drive.
The program is possible through the generosity of the community. Donations can be sent to: Friends of the Borough Dam, Doylestown Borough Hall, 57 W. Court St., Doylestown, Pa., 18901.
Plus, used but fishable rods and reels are also needed. Items can be dropped off at Dave’s Sporting Goods, 1127 N. Easton Rd., or at Mt. Lake Pool & Patio, 396 N. Main St.
