Hilltown Hit And Run Driver Sought By Police
In other reports, police arrested a man on strangulation and assault charges for an incident that happened inside a moving vehicle.
HILLTOWN TOWNSHIP, PA — The Hilltown Township Police Department reported the following incidents and arrests between Oct. 19 and Dec. 6, including a hit and run in the parking lot of a Catholic Church and an assault that took place inside a moving vehicle:
December 6
- Police are investigating a hit-and-run crash in the parking lot of Our Lady Sacred Heart Church. The crash occurred during the early morning hours of Dec. 6. Police said a red SUV "went dashing through the snow," striking a lamp post in the process, and then fleeing from the area. "We are looking for any information on the vehicle or who may have been driving. The church would like to repair or replace the pole," said police. "The driver still has time to get off the naughty list." Anyone with information on this vehicle or driver is asked to contact Officer Labosh at plabosh@hilltownpd.org or 215-453-6000 x305.
