Why are you seeking elective office?

I was honored to win election to the General Assembly in 2018. The accomplishments of my first term include passing Act 101 to provide state funding to ensure clean and safe water for Warrington residents, launching the new “202-Corridor” bus service between New Britain and Chalfont for seniors and dedicating $700,000 to anchor a local small business Renaissance in Dublin Borough. We have more work to do. I want to see State Government live within its means while continuing to grow the Rainy Day Fund.

The single most pressing issue facing our state/nation is _______, and this is what I intend to do about it.

As I write this in March 2020, addressing the rise of coronavirus is the most pressing issue facing our state. I will ensure that the Administration’s response is funded, coordinated and hold all accountable.

What are the critical differences between you and the other candidates seeking this post?

I am not familiar with my political opponent’s policy positions but I applaud him for seeking public office.

If you are a challenger, in what way has the incumbent failed the district?

I am the incumbent.

Describe the other issues that define your campaign platform

A retired Navy Commander and combat pilot, I was trained to complete missions. My mission is to focus on our priorities in Harrisburg.

What accomplishments in your past would you cite as evidence you can handle this job?

Passed Act 101 to provide state funding to ensure clean and safe water for Warrington residents, launched Dart West: the new “202-Corridor” bus service between New Britain and Chalfont for seniors, dedicated $700,000 to anchor a local small business Renaissance in Dublin Borough, introduced the “Save Tabora Farms Agritourism” Act to ensure our local farming community can thrive, delivered over $100,000 in state grant funding for fire fighters and first responder departments in Hilltown, Silverdale, Dublin, Warrington and Chalfont, and, obtained $1,000,000 in grant support to improve the Warrington Police Department. I voted for two budgets with no tax increase and voted to place $320m in the state’s “Rainy Day Fund.” I have introduced and cosponsored many bills that protect our children, veterans and our seniors.

The best advice ever shared with me was …

I was honored to shake President Reagan’s hand at my graduation from the United States Naval Academy. He is quoted having said, “Live simply, love generously, care deeply, speak kindly, leave the rest to God.” That’s good enough advice for me.

What else would you like voters to know about yourself and your positions?

Serving our community is a true honor and you can always count on me to put our community first.
